Anyone know of any good DvD rippers or burning programs that work with this shitty Vista OS.... I'm sorry I went with this OS cause its been nothing but headaches since I got it. I had 2 programs that worked great and were simple to use with XP but both have compatibility issues with Vista.

You know, usually MS has a grace period with a new OS where the license is good for either/or, maybe you should switch to XP, I can help a little if you need to, or you can probably request it from the ppl that sold you the machine.

They do claim some "improvements" to NTFS, so I wouldn't doubt it. I'd certainly recommend backing up any files you've added or created. Just so we're on the same page, I'm not recommending installing XP on TOP of Vista, I'm saying blow Vista away and install XP. You'll need to either make a disk or futz with default drivers for a little bit while you download the appropriate drivers, you'll need xp drivers for your Video Card, motherboard chipset, which will usually include your other built-in's like the sound, network, any ide or raid controllers not covered by xp, etc... if not you'll need those too.

Good to know, thanks man.

I want to find Bill Gates and kick that tool right in the ass... Vista is horrible so far.
